So there is this 6 year old boy that attends my church and he displays signs of having a mental disability. His mother claims he has autism but the thing is, he doesnt display ANY of the typical autistic signs.. In fact, instead of keeping to himself he runs around all the time, can NOT sit still, takes things from others without asking, can't form complete sentences, doesn't listen to given instructions, has MASSIVE temper tantrums, throws things, knocks things over on purpose, and uses the bathroom whenever and wherever he chooses (even in his pants during sunday school). He and his family have been attending our church now for almost a year and his symptoms actually seem to be worsening even though the mother claims that he is on medication. It's getting to be a real problem having him around..you never know what he's going to do next so we don't like trusting him around the younger children and infants. We try to treat him like any other child and allow him to participate in the normal activities but he never cooperates and always causes problems. Any ideas on what might be wrong with this child?
DO NOT CLICK IN THE YELLOW BOX?
Why Not?
I have minor autism, they took a brain scan where I shown signs of moderate to severe hypoxia (lack of oxygen and blood-flow) in the temporal lobes. That's part of area that controls language and learning. Which makes sense b/c whenever I have a conversation, it feels like my brain often runs out of oxygen or fuel mid-sentence so I start studdering for the right words to say- and often end up saying stupid stuff b/c of it. Is there any treatment for hypoxia to the brain? My problem is really bad though, I sound like an 8 year old. Please help
I was reading about Autism and how many believe vaccines have something to do with it, but which vaccines are they talking about if anyone knows please answer. *This is not a question for debate if you believe it or not it's just a question* Thank you
Posting in pregnancy because maybe other pregnant woman are wondering.

MQ: Do you anyone that has Autism?
Autism is a brain development disorder characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. These signs all begin before a child is three years old.[2] The autism spectrum disorders (ASD) also include related conditions such as Asperger syndrome that have milder signs and symptoms.[3]
