Author: My son is 6 and half months old and doesnt really laugh. He has laughed before, and he smiles all the time but he has never really cracked up at anything. and he'll go like days without laughing even a chuckle. I'm a new mother so i have nothing to compare this to. Is this normal? Maybe he just doesnt think anythings that funny. me and my husband laugh all the time so its not like hes not exposed to a heartful belly laugh. The only reason why i'm concerned, and probably being paranoid is if im not wrong its one of the first signs of autism. Thanks for all your help

I didn't find out I was pregnant with my second child until I was four months. I had drink occasionally before then. My daughter, now four, is developmentally delayed, needs speech therapy, and has pica. Though she displays signs of autism and lead poisoning, doctors have said she has neither. Her behavior is out of control and she's not even potty trained, as she keeps relapsing. I needed to know if my having alcohol while carrying her could of cause these issues. I need to know what direction to take with finding a diagnosis for her condition.
