Ok before anyone jumps down my throat as I said - im still not decided what to do.
I was almost certain Jack would have the MMR whilst I was pregnant with him as I read all of the NHS information they hand out and thought "why the hell would the NHS let children get Autism" But when I looked into it a bit further I have become quite concerned.
Why have so many children who have had vaccines (not just MMR but all the usual jabs) suddenly just days after regressed and then developed Autism? its just too much of a coincidence for me. I am aware that the signs of Autism start to show around the same age as the jab - but come on? within a few days??
There are so many support websites that have been set up by parents of children who developed Autism and other health issues following vaccines and I dont want my child to be one of them.
Also the research that looked into the link between MMR and Autism was apparently funded by the actual drug companies themselves - so it's totally bias (but this is just going by what I have read on the internet so I can never be sure)
Part of me just thinks - dont be such a worrier the NHS wouldnt let lots of children get ill. But my 'mother's instinct' is telling me to avoid the jab. I just have a bad feeling about it.
We all know how the government only have money as their main priority and we have all learned just how corrupt the government is (you only have to look at the recent expenses scandal to realise!)
One of the things I find concerning is that the NHS claim that 1 in every 1000 children who have the Jab will suffer a febrile convulsion - which is very a high number if you consider how many children each day have the injections!
I have looked into the way they worded their info and actually, if you really look they can be quite vague on a lot of the information given.
The side effects of the illnesses are actually rare and that's even if your child gets them in the first place. But on the other side - the reason the diseases are rare is because of the millions who chose to vaccinate - so it feels selfish of me not to do the same.
Please can people give me links to any information I should be aware of, as I obviously want to do make my decision knowing I have really looked into all of the facts properly.
Many Thanks

Why Not?
- i hear this is a sign of autism, but what if the kid does it just once in a while? ours does it a couple times a day, usually when he is happy about something, kind of prances a little, then stops. does your kid do this?
- this autism stuff is driving me crazy because often i hear of some new subtle sign and i am like, yeah i guess my kid does that sometimes. it used to seem it would be obvious if your kid had autism, now it's like all these minor things are signs of it.
- overall he seems to be normal, happy little guy, and engaging. but he also is somewhat specific in how he plays, and likes things the way he likes them, has procedures he likes to stick to for certain games/activities.
I was diagnosed with ADHD and Aspergers syndrome at around the age of 8. I read all the reports and I realized something I never did before. According to them I was slow to do everything, I only kept one friend, avoided much social contact, and hated change in routine. Every answer I gave was practical. I spent so much time on details, it took me forever to do everything. Dispite this they knew I was intelligent, artistic, and imaginative. One report said that I had unusual fluctuations in my voice at times. They realized I had great rote memory and a love for structured environments. Because of this they came close to calling me autistic. I must point out that I am not an astrologer, but here goes: My sun sign is 7 degrees Taurus and my mercury and jupiter are Taurus, Taureans are an introverted sign therefore keeping only the closest friends, they take their time with everything, are practical in everything they do, and do have great rote memory probably due to their conservative nature and respect for establishment. The Taurus sign rules the throat and Taureans often use color in their voice, along with being naturally great singers. My moon sign is 18 degrees Virgo, another reserved and rather introverted sign, Virgos LOVE details and structure. My mars is 13 degrees Aquarius, giving me the great imagination and offbeat ideas. If any one of these many faculty members would have noticed my birth date and connected it to my zodiac sign, they would have realized that even my appearance has a strong Taurus influence (youthful, round eyes, round face/jaw line, tuft of hair on bangs) and Leo rising influence (golden skin, 'mane' like hair, large facial features) I do look very lion like, being 0 degrees Leo. They said that I exhibited signs of autism but my other behaviors were contradictory, I was outgoing when I found comfort, I was very polite and patient with people. I guess my real question is: How does someone's astrological influence make developemental disorders? And are things like Aspergers syndrome really disorders or just someone's preference to their way of life, is there any real line to distinguish disorder from personality? I know I definitely prefer to keep to myself not because I don't know how to communicate, I'd rather just not communicate because I hate being put into the uncomfortable situation of getting used to other people and I hate being vulnerable, I like control, and that's best obtained in a relationship I'm familiar with. How can someone get off with slapping a disorder on someone with a reserved personality? The reports also said my mom is a reserved speaker and suggested that she passed the autism spectrum disorder onto me...my mom just so happens to be a Taurus native too and it's no secret that Taureans are a quiet bunch, I know quite a few Taureans personally. How can astrological signs give things such as attention deficits? Or do you think it's strictly genetic? I need some expert opinions on the matter.
Sorry that dragged on a bit too long, I do love giving detail, remember?
